There are several ways faculty may become involved in the work of honors students, from teaching honors courses or supervising honors contract projects to serving as mentors for extended research projects and honors theses. Faculty members also serve on the University Honors Council and as College Honors Directors.

OSU faculty can offer students honors credit for their class by supervising a supplemental project related to the course material.

A representative from each academic college serves as a liaison between their college and the Honors College.

The members of the University Honors Council represent the interests and concerns of honors students and faculty from their respective colleges.
