President
As a senior heading into my final semester, I’m eager to give back to the Honors College community that heavily shaped my first year at OSU. Attending Honors events helped me build lasting friendships, and I want to create that same welcoming environment for others. I’m only taking 12 credit hours, giving me plenty of time to fully dedicate myself to this role. With a 4.0 GPA and experience balancing multiple responsibilities, I’ve developed strong time management and leadership skills. I serve as an SI Leader and mentor on the LASSO Center’s leadership team, where I help train other tutors and leaders. I also work as a research assistant and serve as a senior clinician in the Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic. These roles have equipped me with communication, organization, and collaboration skills that I would bring to the positions of HCSA President/Vice President. I’m passionate about making a meaningful impact and continuing to build a supportive, engaging honors community.
President
I would be a good candidate for this position because I am willing and ready to help others and myself to be more involved with the Honors College. I want to be able to showcase my passion for academics and community as a whole, and I think this would be a wonderful opportunity. I think I would be able to provide new and fresh ideas in order to try and accumulate more feedback for the Honors College itself. I am ready to put my all into this leadership position and work with others to create a happy, healthy environment that others want to be a part of. This opportunity is one I just can't pass up, and I hope my desire and passion for the position is apparent and reflected.
Vice President
I am a great candidate for an HCSA position because I am passionate about serving the honors community and helping connect students through meaningful events. As a McKnight Scholar and honors student, I prioritize academic excellence, but I also value being involved outside the classroom. From volunteering with STEM outreach initiatives to serving on SGA committees and working live events across the nation, I have developed strong communication and leadership skills that I would love to bring to HCSA. I am excited about the opportunity to help represent and support my fellow honors students.
Vice President
I have managed, and still manage, two social media accounts so I am familiar with creating flyers, branding, and marketing professionally. I also manage calendars and schedules for two companies so I have experience with organization as well as coordinating others.
Vice President
I believe I would be a good candidate for this position due to my ability to balance multiple responsibilities, in the past I have simultaneously juggled being an organic chemistry tutor, an undergraduate researcher, and a member of the rowing club in campus on top of my schedule. So I believe I can confidently say that I will be able to competently facilitate events and assist other members of HCSA.
Vice President
In terms of this position, I have spent the last year in a position with Residents Halls Association. Through this position, I was in charge of running weekly meetings for our BOLD committee, I spent time not only creating links on campus link but also helping teach others to do the same, and have ran many events on a campus wide scale. I am a highly motivated and organized individual that has experience in the various duties of this role and would hope to advance HCSA through these qualifications.

Secretary
I believe I would be a strong candidate for the secretary position because my previous leadership roles have directly prepared me for the responsibilities involved! As Vice President of Finance for my sorority for two years, I managed budget of $300,000 to $1.2 million, created detailed financial plans, and communicated regularly with members—giving me a strong foundation in record keeping and organization. While serving as Secretary for both Global Medical Brigades and Students of Osteopathic Rural Medicine, I gained hands-on experience scheduling meetings, recording detailed minutes, and coordinating events with other organizations. These roles sharpened my ability to keep accurate records, track attendance, and facilitate communication between members. Additionally, as a Ferguson College of Agriculture Representative on the University Honors Council, I’ve honed my presentation and note-taking skills at both local and national conferences, where I represent the university. I’m organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing the behind-the-scenes logistics that aid an organization run smoothly—all of which make me well-prepared to take on the responsibilities of secretary if I were to be selected.
Secretary
I have already been a secretary for multiple clubs before and am very organized. I am the planner of my friend group and love setting up details and preparing for events.

Social Media Chair
I would love to serve as the Social Media/Communications Chair because of my passion and experience in the facet of communications, as well as my love for the Honors College. I am an Agricultural Communications major and have always found enjoyment in being able to communicate important information through digital media. In the past, I have run social media accounts for three different organizations. In addition, I also created graphics and flyers for these organizations and distributed them. Through this, I increased engagement in social media and increased participation and outreach in these organizations through digital media communications. I absolutely love the Honors College and all that it does for students, and I would love to be able to promote it and its events in order to create meaningful connections among members!
Social Media Chair
The main reason I would be a good candidate for the position of social media/communications chair are because of my background and experience both in the Honors College, as an honors ambassador and social media committee member, and in Frontier Mosaic, a literary magazine for OSU undergrads, as their social media manager. I love creating infographics on Canva and sharing them to fellow peers to increase the overall turnout and success of the organizations I'm a part of. As a marketing major, I have knowledge of advertising concepts that I could tie into any posts or flyers I create to not only boost outreach to honors students, but to gain more experience in my field of study.
Social Media Chair
I believe I would be a good candidate for this position because of my previous experience involving social media management and my ideas for the college moving forward. For this past year, I have been on the marketing team over at CEAT Student Council, and that has allowed me to get familiar with many tools I believe would be utilized in this position, such as Canva. I also believe I would like to get more people to events and play a part in hearing what the students would like to attend. The effectiveness of communication between the ones organizing and the student body is crucial, and I would make that run as smoothly as possible while being engaging. I would consider myself to be very receptive to change, so if there is anything that the college population believes could be changed, I would be happy to consider this and take those ideas into account moving forward. I would be a tool for the students, because at the end of the day, all of the events and college resources are for us, and who wants to waste their time when no one asks you want you would like. Thank you, and Go Pokes!

Social Media Chair
My qualifications for this position are rooted in past positions that I have held both before and during my time here at OSU. I have held the position of National Communications Chair for the Residents Halls Association for the last year, in that role, I have overseen the communications with students through emails, tabling, and other recruitment and marketing activities. Before this position, I was on the Board of Directors for the Parker-Wentz hall grouping. Through this position, my main task was creating flyers for the events held by the committee, and making them applicable to social media platforms. Through this, I learned the best ways to make flyers appealing to students, where to put the flyers in order to have the most visibility, and how to make the flyers and graphics accessible for students of all backgrounds and ability levels.
