Oral Presentation Abstract
- Guidelines
- Oral Presentations must be approved by the honors director of the nominating institution and indicate the director's advocacy of the excellence of the work.
- Presentations must be submitted through the Oral Presentation Abstract Submission Form below.
- Honors institutions may submit an unlimited number of Oral Presentation proposals.
- Submissions must come from dues-paying institutions.
- Must be submitted using the GPHC Oral Presentation Abstract Submission Form
- Dates and Deadlines
- The deadline for submission is February 2, 2024, by 5pm.
- Extensions cannot be granted nor can changes be made to submissions by the host institution or any other individual once received.
- Conference registration must be completed by the Early Bird deadline of February 15, 2024, in order for a submission to be considered.
- Students and honors directors will be notified if they are presenting at the conference by February 9, 2024.
- Presentation Criteria
- Oral presentation abstracts must meet the following criteria:
- Be no more than 250 words
- Be formatted in a readable fashion.
- Not indicate the identity of either the writer or institution will be disqualified.
- Presenters must also meet the following criteria:
- Be limited to strictly 10 minutes with an additional 5 minute question and answer time.
- Arrive at their session location prior to presentation time.
- Introduce themselves to the classroom moderator.
- Be prepared to upload their presentation to the computer in their assigned room prior to presentation time.

- Technology
- Each classroom has a computer, sound system, and a projector.
- If you would like to have a projector remote, please bring your own as we will not have one available for every classroom.
