Eligibility Requirements for New Freshmen
Check out our three admission options below to see how you can become a member of the Honors College at OSU (includes test optional admission).
- High school grade-point average of 3.85 or higher
- High school grade-point average of 3.75 and ACT Composite score of 27 or higher, or SAT score of 1260 or higher (critical reading and math only)
- If a student has a high school grade-point average of at least 3.75 and does not have a standardized test score or would like to be considered for Honors College admission without a standardized test score being taken into consideration, the student may submit for a holistic review. The form for holistic review is available when the student applies to the Honors College through the OSU admissions application.
Oklahoma State University Undergraduate Admissions High School GPA Policy
Oklahoma State University uses the highest cumulative GPA (weighted or unweighted based on a 4.0 scale) indicated on a student’s official high school transcript for admission and scholarship purposes. GPAs not using a 4.0 scale will be converted to a 4.0 scale.
There is no additional fee for applying to the Honors College, but students must apply and be admitted to OSU before being admitted to the Honors College.
