Oklahoma Envirothon

The OSU Honors College is proud to host the state’s Envirothon competition. Oklahoma Envirothon is a hands-on educational event led by environmental professionals from across the state. The competition is designed for high school students (9-12th grades) to test their knowledge about the environmental science and natural resources. Five-member teams compete by taking a series of written exams, field exercises, and problem-solving challenges to showcase their expertise in aquatic ecology, forestry, soils and land use, wildlife, and current environmental issues. The contest fosters academic learning as well as teamwork, environmental stewardship, and the practical application of science in real-world scenarios.
The 2025 State competition is scheduled for April 9th at the OSU Botanic Gardens.
