Oklahoma Envirothon
The OSU Honors College is proud to host the state’s Envirothon competition. Oklahoma Envirothon is a hands-on educational competition led by environmental professionals from across the state. Envirothon welcomes students in grades 9 - 12. Teams of fivecomplete written exams, field exercises, and problem-solving challenges to showcase their expertise in aquatic ecology, forestry, soils and land use, wildlife, and current environmental issues. The contest fosters academic learning as well as teamwork, environmental stewardship, and practical application of science in real-world scenarios.
The 2027 State competition will be held Friday, April 30th at the OSU-Stillwater campus. Registration opens in February 2027.
Envirothon Field Day
A free event to introduce students and teachers to theOklahoma Envirothon study areas: aquatic ecology, forestry, soils and land use, wildlife, and current environmental issues.
- October 21 - Arcadia Conservation Education Area, Edmond
- October 28 - Chandler Park, Tulsa
- November 4 - Lake McMurtry, Stillwater
