A former Honors College student and Oklahoma State University alumna, Breyanna Mitchell brings firsthand knowledge of the Honors experience to her work with current students. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from OSU and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in educational psychology. During her undergraduate studies, she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, the nation's oldest and most prestigious acadmic honor society.

As a first-generation college student, Breyanna is passionate about helping students navigate their college journeys with confidence. She is committed to fostering a sense of belonging and creating an environment where students feel supported, empowered and encouraged to achieve their academic and personal goals.

In her role with the Honors College, Breyanna provides academic advising and supports a variety of events and initiatives within the Honors K-12 Outreach program. Her work focuses on enhancing students' academic and co-curricular experiences while helping them build meaningful connections in the Honors community.

Breyanna is especially passionate about student engagement, volunteerism and community involvement. She enjoys creating opportunities for students to connect with others, contribute to their communities and grow through service and leadership. Through her work, she strives to help students make the most of their Honors experience while cultivating a lasting sense of purpose, connection and belonging.
